From December 8th to 10th, 2019, the Global Lawyers Forum was successfully held by All China Lawyers Association (ACLA) in Guangzhou, China. 800 lawyers including approximately 350 overseas lawyers from 57 countries, justice ministers of 8 countries, as well as heads of bar associations of 22 countries or regions attended the forum. Overseas lawyer organizations participating in the forum mainly included International Bar Association (IBA), International Association of Lawyers (UIA), Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE), Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA), and LAWASIA. Mr. Chen Yiping attended the conference as member of Jiangsu Delegation.
There were three Israeli law firms attending the forum, namely, Shibolet & Co., MEITAR and Lipa Meir&Co., among which, Lawyer OMER from Shibolet & Co. is a founding member of the Belt and Road International Lawyers Association (BRILA). Mr. Chen from RUILAI, as Country Coordinator for Israel designated by ACLA, had made a lot of contributions for participation of Israeli lawyers in this forum and for OMER to become a founding member of BRILA.
