Mr. Song Zhengping is the managing partner of Jiangsu Yunya Law Firm. He serves as vice president of Jiangsu Lawyers Association, President of Wuxi Lawyers Association, judge of Jiangsu Province, member of the Prosecutor Selection Committee. He is a listed arbitrator for 3 institutional arbitration bodies: Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, Nanjing Arbitration Commission and Wuxi Arbitration Commission.

Mr. Song Zhengping was qualified in 1995. He worked for the Court as a clerk began from 1993. In June 2003, he was sent by the Ministry of Justice to participate in one-year Lord Chancellor’s Training Scheme in London. He once worked for Eversheds LLP (London office), Essex Court Chambers (London) and Johnson Stokes & Master (Hong Kong) under that training scheme. He was selected by Jiangsu Provincial Government in 2007 to participate in a 3-month international trade law training scheme in the University of Maryland, the United States. In 2013, he was listed by All China Lawyers Association (ACLA) as “China’s Leading Lawyer in Foreign-related Matters”. He was sent by ACLA to participate in a 2-month training scheme in the University of Hamburg, Germany. He was also transferred to Clifford Chance Munich Office as an exchange lawyer under that training scheme.

2.Analysis on the legal issues of foreign exchange control over payment of purchase money in the process of foreign investors' Merger and acquisition of domestic enterprises was awarded as first prize on the 7th East China Lawyers Forum.

3.Preliminary study on guarantee for foreign investors to acquire domestic enterprises was awarded as excellent paper of Jiangsu Lawyer in 2012.

4.The unique role of lawyer's non litigation business in the construction of the rule of law was awarded as third prize by the 6th Wuxi, China Legal Construction Forum held by Wuxi government and China Daily.

5.Challenges and Countermeasures of lawyers in China along “the Belt and the Road” was shared in "China UK legal forum" sponsored by China Law Society in 2016.
