Resume of Lawyer Sun Shutian

Sun Shutian, the lawyer of Jiangsu Zhongshanmingjing (Wuxi) Law Firm, studied and worked in Japan for many years. He obtained LLB from University of Toyama and LLM from Waseda University (Waseda Law School), worked at Chinese Representative Office of a large Japanese law firm and International Affairs Department of a Japanese Fortune Global 500 company, and is able to work both in Chinese and Japanese. His practice areas focus on Foreign Investment (Investment in Japan), Anti-fraud and Compliance, Labour dispute resolution, and related legal services. 

1.Representative Project 

He was retained by a large Japanese corporate group company to provide subsidiaries across China with compliance training for corporate ethics and code of conduct, and assisted the company to establish an anti-fraud reporting system in China. 

He was entrusted by a large Japanese insurance company to design and implement “Employee Loyalty Insurance”, especially for Japanese-funded enterprises in China. 

He provides long-term legal counselling services for multiple Japanese-founded enterprises in China.
